Electric Vehicle points and making the most of your Solar PV

Charging your electric vehicle

It is not recommended to charge your ev with a 13amp plug for long periods of time as we have changed a number of 13amp sockets due to heat damage there are also a number of safety features that come with electric vehicle points. It is also a lot faster to charge with an ev point, I have put down a number of popular ev cars and time in hours to charge using a standard 13amp plug and a standard 7kw ev point

Time taken in hours to charge your electric vehicle from a 13amp standard plug or a dedicated 7kw ev charger at home

Battery Storage

Battery storage we are able to install a number of Battery storage solutions from myenergy with the libbi and givenergy. Both with differing price points and uses depending on what you have installed.

If you already have myenergy products then the Libbi will integrate very well and you can have between 5kw and 20 kw battery systems.

Giv energy all in one has a 13.5kw battery and ac coupled inverter allowing you to save the solar or import cheap electricity and use whenever you wish at upto 7.2kw discharge

You can also have battery storage without solar charging up when electricity is cheaper dependant on your supplier and tariff
